We aim to address the issue of absentee fathers who, due to limited knowledge and resources, have disengaged from their children. We also seek to support couples who lack the tools and support needed to build strong, healthy marriages—an instability that often harms children when relationships break down.

This challenge was underscored in the National Fatherhood Initiative® (NFI) 2008 report The One Hundred Billion Dollar Man, which estimated the financial burden of father absence on U.S. taxpayers. According to the report, federal spending increases significantly to provide income assistance, nutrition, healthcare, early childhood services, energy support, and housing aid for low‑income families affected by father absence.
